Here is a simple recipe for Golden Fried Baby Corn:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup baby corn, washed and drained
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water, as needed
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornflour, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, and salt.
  2. Add water gradually to make a thick batter. The consistency should be similar to pancake batter.
  3. Heat oil for deep frying in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Dip each baby corn piece into the batter, ensuring it’s well coated.
  5. Carefully drop the coated baby corn pieces into the hot oil. Fry in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  6. Fry until the baby corn turns golden brown and crisp.
  7. Remove from the oil using a slotted spoon and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce or chutney.
